Youth Job Center – YJC partners with young people to provide job preparation and wrap around services, including work readiness training like resume creation and interviewing skills, and continued career planning. Their Next Stop program provides participants with a stipend while working on work readiness activities to determine their next steps.
College to Career Program – Free career counseling for Associate’s & Bachelor’s degree recipients.
LeadersUP – Free career coaches services committed to providing young people work-related support at any stage. Meet with coaches one on one virtually. Services include resume support, mock interviews, draft cover letters, and career advice.
Chicago200 is an annual leadership program that convenes young (age 18-25) diverse leaders from across the Chicagoland area to address the question: “How will we make Chicago a city for all?”
TA98‘s mission is to tackle the unemployment rates for young adults 16-24 by providing meaningful career opportunities. Their programs equip young adults with 21st Century Skills by providing an intensive 8-Week Personal + Professional Development training.
BravenX is a 15-week virtual fellowship experience that equips participants with the skills, confidence, networks, and experiences necessary to launch a strong career. It is aimed at participants in their sophomore or junior year of college who have a hunger to attain a strong post-grad opportunity, though all students who have completed at least one semester of college can participate.
America Needs You connects talent with opportunity. They work with ambitious first-generation college students by giving them the skills, mentorship, and access they need to create a meaningful career after college. Fill out the interest form to receive important updates on the application process.

The Great Opportunities (GO) program is a youth development program designed to help assist young adults between the ages of 16-24 years old with the education and exposure needed to embark on a path toward college or a career. This program provides the education, employment and experience to be successful. The GO Program offers a number of events and classes to help set you up for success when it comes to getting into college or a job.

Exelon Foundation Stem Leadership Academy – July 31 – August 5, 2022
The Exelon Foundation STEM Leadership Academy is a free, week-long in-person event. Learn from women working in STEM and business leaders. Visit energy facilities. Explore sustainability, energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate change. Connect with like-minded peers.
Young women currently in 10th or 11th grade (class of 2023 and 2024) are invited to apply for the 2022 Exelon STEM Leadership Academy.
Successful applicants will spend the week attending educational sessions, improving leadership and professional skills, and tackling a weeklong group challenge. Young women will have the opportunity to meet business and community leaders and converse with women currently working in STEM.

The Chicago Bridges program began in 1990. Chicago Bridges serves in-school and out-of-school young adults ages 17-24.
Bridges staff members, known as Employer Representatives, work with young adults individually and in groups to identify career goals, develop interviewing skills, connect with employers, create a résumé, apply for jobs, get a job, and succeed in a job. Employer Representatives work closely with each young person, providing instruction, guidance, and mentoring that increases confidence, builds character, and enhances professionalism.
